IVECO Poland has delivered 20 Stralis Natural Power tractor units ordered by EPO-Trans Logistic with a capacity of 460 hp, equipped with the most modern propulsion system using LNG as fuel. As a result, the EPO-Trans Logistic fleet has expanded to over 300 vehicles.
As part of the package agreement with IVECO Poland, the carrier built and launched an LNG gas refueling station in the town of Krzywa on the EPO-LNG transport base. The new station is also available for LNG vehicles of other carriers and has an excellent location on the A4 route at the height of Bolesławiec. Epo-Trans Logistic S.A. has two LNG gas filling stations. One is located at the headquarters of the Epo-Trans company in Tychy, another one on the premises of the new Epo-LNG transport base.
The supplied IVECO Stralis Low Tractor vehicles are equipped with LNG tanks with a capacity of 290 kg (800 liters). Other parameters are 460 hp and range up to 1150 km; tractors are equipped with a modern HI-TRONIX gearbox, HI-CRUISE support systems and a retarder. They have been equipped with maximum refrigerators, comfortable couches and automatic air conditioning.
The contract for the supply of the tractors was signed on December 7, 2018 in Tychy. The units will will navigate the European Union, Finland and Scandinavia.
