20 IVECO Stralis LNG for PUH EXPORT-IMPORT Adam Lipiński (Poland)

IVECO Poland has announced the signing of a contract with Polish logistic company PUH EXPORT-IMPORT Adam Lipiński for the delivery of 20 Stralis Natural Power 460 hp tractor units equipped with the most modern propulsion system using liquefied natural gas (LNG) as fuel. The order was signed at the Bledzewo Resort in Sierpc in the presence of representatives of both companies.

These IVECO Stralis NP LNG tractors will complete the fleet of 120 IVECO vehicles, currently owned by the company that has been providing domestic and international transport for over 30 years. The tractors will be covered by a 60-month maintenance and repair contract by IVECO, which includes Non Stop Assistance , full operational service along with a full warranty for the entire vehicle.

IVECO Stralis NP 460 LNG for PUH EXPORT-IMPORT Adam Lipiński is to be delivered in Standard versions along the second half of this year.

During the signing of the contract, the companies were represented by: Mr Adam Lipiński - Owner of PUH EXPORT-IMPORT, Mr. Wojciech Lipiński - Truck Nord Center President, Mr. Marcin Piluchowski - Heavy Business Line Manager IVECO Poland, Mr. Piotr Kowalski - Direct Sales Manager IVECO Poland, Mr. Robert Ryczywolski - Key Account Manager at IVECO Poland.

As part of the package agreement with IVECO Poland, an LNG gas refueling station will also be built in Sierpc. The refueling station will be lent to the carrier for a period of 5 years and will also be available to other users of IVECO Natural Power vehicles.

STRALIS NP tractor units and truck chassis are powered exclusively with natural gas, designed for road use mainly in long-distance traffic and in light terrain. They provide 460 hp and a range of up to 1600 km on LNG. This vehicle is able to achieve up to 15% lower fuel consumption while reducing particulate matter (PM), carbon monoxide (NO x ) and carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) emissions by up to 95% compared to the diesel drive  Euro VI / C versions. The maintenance-free exhaust after-treatment system does not require AdBlue or a particulate filter (DPF). In addition, the natural gas engine is characterized by quiet operation (- 71dB - in accordance with the Piek Quiet Truck certificate).

We believe that a fleet of 20 liquefied natural gas vehicles will provide sustainable transport in the field of environmental protection and profit for the carrier, as well as greater comfort for drivers. "

We have traveled almost 5,000 kilometers, taking full advantage of the offered tractor and we are convinced that we are making the next step in the energy transformation of our company by investing in LNG truck tractors, making our business safer and more sustainable.Tests have shown us that this vehicle provides significantly lower fuel consumption compared to its diesel-powered version, we also take into account the currently abolished motorway fee, Maut, for LNG vehicles introduced in Germany, which gives us an additional benefit when using vehicles in international transport. "
