Natural Gas stations in France, arrival of new major player

Molgas Energia, Spanish Company leader in the distribution of liquefied natural gas arrives in France with its turnkey Blu-Box offer composed of a private station and associated logistics: from its installation to its supply.

The promise of Molgas Energia to French road hauliers is that they will have access to fuel gas at the most competitive conditions on the market. A market that is constantly growing; the number of registrations of gas-fueled trucks in France in 2018 grew by 78%.

"According to the French Association of Natural Gas for Vehicles , trucks in France of more than 3.5 tons operating with this energy will amount to 55,000 trucks by 2022 and 220,000 by 2030 » says Edouard de Montmarin , General Manager France of Molgas Energia.

This dynamism is at the origin of an unprecedented mobilization on the part of the players in the fuel gas chain in France in order to guarantee a reliable supply to these new vehicles . In this chain, Molgas Energia innovates with a unique response adapted to the needs of road professionals and complementary to the public distribution network in training.

"French hauliers have a strong culture of managing their fuels. They prefer to have of private installations guaranteeing autonomy,  flexibility, service and competitiveness. Molgas Energia meets this need".

"Molgas ranks among the top 5 distributors of LNG in Europe to serve three major markets: Industrial, marine bunkering and vehicle fuel, operating more than 150 facilities and the largest fleet of tanks and containers for LNG transport on the continent".

In the distribution of LNG fuel for vehicles, Molgas Energia operates 15 public stations in Europe, including 2 in France at Donges (2018) and Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois (2019).

"Molgas offers a turn-key solution at an all inclusive price of maximum 0,80 € per kilo including excise duty excluding VAT".

The Blu-Box private station  has a capacity of 20 m3 and it is able to supply LNG or CNG from LNG. "Its design requires only a single concrete platform or integrates with the former fuel system installation."
