New L-CNG station in Southern Italy and 6 IVECO Stralis delivered.

The new LNG filling station is situated in San Vitaliano, Province of Naples in the Campania region. The station is owned by Papa Group, a company that has over 50 years of history and manages three fuel stations located in the Campania region. It is located near the junction of Nola, where the A30 motorways meet (Caserta - Salerno), and A16 (Autostrada Dei due Mari), and is prepared for further expansion, through the addition a second dispenser and the completion of an area of 600 square meters, which will host a series of additional services for the customers.

The station supplies both CNG and LNG. "The new plant is a reference point for all new generation methane trucks - as stated by Giovanni Papa, owner of the plant - Today, large companies, especially in the north, are changing their fleet of vehicles by replacing diesel vehicles with methane powered ones: they have lower emissions and lower consumption  . I am sure that our plant will give an important input to our entrepreneur transporters, some of whom are already very interested in the new opportunities that the market offers. I am very confident: it is a good opportunity to fill that gap with the Northern part of Italy".

The event was also an opportunity to deliver six Stralis AS440S46T / P LNG to Autotrasporti Pellini, who signed the order at the end of last year. The Natural Gas powered sustainable trucks in Pellini fleet equal to 15% of the total, all under the IVECO brand.

These Stralis LNG, recently awarded heavy road "Sustainable Truck of the Year 2019", are equipped with double LNG tank to guarantee a range of up to 1600 km with a single refueling and thus face even the most demanding long-range missions; they will be used to manage the company's main activities, which include international transport, intermodal and ADR, of dangerous goods and waste.

The opening of this new refueling station and the simultaneous delivery of the trucks confirm the growing trend of the Gas Mobility expansion, which represents the most convenient, available and sustainable alternative to diesel.
